This release adds a Widget that you can add to your Home Screen or Notification Center. Yesterday, we shipped our iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 update. Going forward, our release numbers will be comprised of the current year, followed by the release number. With this weeks' update, we are switching to a year-based version number. We noticed over the course of this year that our current release versioning scheme no longer fits our new development cycle: We no longer want to ship major updates instead, we want to focus on regular, incremental improvements. We have continually improved our integration, and you can now also use gestures like Shift + Drag on a node to create a cross-connection. If you haven't already, give MindNode a try on a Magic Keyboard. This year we have shipped Visual Tags, new Node Shapes (borderless main nodes embedded, hexagonal and octagonal styles), Image Positioning within nodes, new Siri Shortcuts, and full Pointer support on iPad. This is what we have achieved by delivering new features every other month. Instead of holding back features for major releases, we can ship them once they are ready. One of the motivating factors which helped us decide to switch to subscriptions was that it would allow us to ship updates more regularly. Today, I'd like to give you a brief look back at the past few months and an update on our plans for upcoming releases. Last November, I updated you on our plans for MindNode 7 and our switch to a subscription business model.

(I do plan on getting a tube amp at some point - which, will send me down another crazy rabbit hole -)īack to your question: I wonder as well. In addition to being a feature-rich music player, you can also use MusicBee as a music management tool. This iTunes alternative offers a very well developed interface that looks somewhat similar to iTunes. The first best iTunes alternative on the list is MusicBee. I then play it through a DAC to a solid state amp. Top 10 iTunes Alternatives For Windows, Mac, And Linux. Which, I am probably the best example of railing against Apple's vision: I buy the physical media (at a store, pre-COVID - or online), and either download the MP3 or rip it to my system. And to be clear: I LOVE my streaming apps too - I just want to "touch" my media, I guess. It does make me curious as to the "why" the legacy apps become irrelevant (XMMS, WinAMP, etc.) over time. So, I didn't want to derail the conversation right off the bat -) To eradicate even its support files, Alt-click Go in Finder and open your Library, and then delete the iTunes. (and I can't honestly say I can hear a difference - but, for me it's not ONLY about great sounds, I like the whole experience). Enter an admin password, hit Return and the iTunes app will be gone for all users. So, part of my issue is that I have some "hi-fi" gear (DACs, nice cans, Fosgate headphone amp, etc.) I didn't bring it up initially as it seems to get some people ALL fired up about what the human ear can discern, etc. I actually do wonder if there's a market opportunity here in providing an actual solution for people who do prefer not to stream, I'm sure there are dozens of us. I don’t know how it handles conflicts though. Fixes several bugs when using regex during Find and Replace operations. Prevents computers entering full sleep while music is playing. Adds the ability to sort the art grid by composer. Why bother having a copy? It's a desktop PC anyway, so why? You're not travelling with your Mac Mini, are you?Įdit: you could also use fswatch to call rsync on changes in your directory if you'd just network-share your source drive.Įdit 2: (completing on first edit) so, make your 2014 Mini your source, throw your media on it, then network-share the folder connect the share to your MacBook Pro and M1 Mini, then on both of them setup fswatch to rsync changes from the network-share to a local directory, and again setup fswatch to rsync changes from local directory to the network-share. When set to copy new tracks Swinsian will now copy the target of symlinks instead of the link. In your case, though, and if you don't want the annoyance of having to plug in an SSD, I'd go the home server route and just stream all the media from my Plex server. I can't trust Apple Music with my personal collection (been burned one too many times) so now I just keep my personal collection on a Samsung T7 which I just plug in when I want to listen to everything that's not Apple Music. "I'd like to thank Spike and market manaeger David Yadgaroff for this opportunity. “It's an exciting time in Philadelphia sports and I couldn't be more thrilled to be in charge of the airwaves every night on WIP," Marks said in a statement. His show will debut Tuesday night at 6 p.m. Marks follows Joe DeCamara, now WIP's mid-morning host alongside Jon Ritchie, in migrating from 97.5 to rival 94.1. Haddad will stay on as WIP's creative services director. "We're thrilled to have him aboard."īringing on Marks will mean the end of evenings hosted by Brian Haddad, somehow affectionately known as "Sludge," who joined the station in 2012 and took over nights as WIP reshuffled its lineup for short-lived afternoon host Josh Innes. “Jon's talent, relationship to Philadelphia sports fans, and history in the marketplace will be a huge addition to WIP," said program director Spike Eskin. Spike Eskin is leaving his role as brand manager of Audacy’s SportsRadio 94WIP and conservative talk station 1210 WPHT to take on a similar role at New York sister sports talk. He remained in that slot, most recently alongside former WIP mainstay Anthony Gargano, until he elected to leave The Fanatic near the end of his contract last September. Marks had been at 97.5 for a decade, serving first as producer for Mike Missinelli's afternoon show and then stepping in to co-host the station's morning show. Josh Innes, Tony Bruno reunite on radio to set record straight.with new WIP afternoon co-host Chris Carlin A totally visual - but somewhat NSFW - recap of Wing Bowl 25.The changing of the guard at Sportsradio 94WIP continues to take form as the station revealed Monday it has hired Jon Marks, formerly a morning host at rival 97.5 The Fanatic, to take over evenings from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. On Wednesday 94WIP suspended Innes for three days due to his comments, according to program director Spike Eskin. Sweet and sour tenderloin, fried eggplant, fried rice or noodles, dumplings, … it’s all equally delicious. But honestly, the Chinese food in China is so different from (and so much better than) take-away Chinese food. When you read the title above, you probably think about the Chinese take-away around the corner. We were on the wrong bus, but the driver took a detour just to drop us at our destination. In Datong, we were looking for a public bus that went to the train station. All of the sudden, a Chinese girl and her boyfriend offered us banana pancakes as dessert, saying that we really had to taste it. In Guilin, we were eating at a local market. That night we met a woman who took us to the local dance lesson on the square, a couple of guys working in a restaurant who saw we were cold and offered us a bottle of hot tea, a baker and his wife who offered us, besides electricity, also a delicious breakfast. During our 24 hour Dali tour with the e-bike, we had to rely on the local people for charging the battery of our e-bike.They have indeed some strange habits, but they are kind and heart-warming people. They constantly spit on the ground, they eat dog and they don’t wait for their turn. There go a lot of rumors about Chinese people and their manners. Don’t be mistaken by the name, because the six bunks in each compartment are really comfortable and equipped with a soft pillow and blanket. We had to travel a lot of kilometers in China, and we almost every time choose for a hard sleeper. These trains take you from one location to another while you are sleeping, for a very reasonable price. One of our favorite transportation methods was the night train. Major cities have a metro, several railway stations and many bus stations that can bring you to almost every other major city. Luckily, the transportation system in China is very convenient. As a consequence you have to travel long distances when traveling China. Convenient transportationĬhina is a huge country. Typical buildings between skyscrapers, Chinese people practicing tai-chi in one of the many parks, sharing food at the table, … Certainly a culture you have to experience. Although Chinese have adopted several western aspects in their manner of living, the Chinese culture is still highly visible. The Chinese culture is one of the world’s oldest cultures.
AirDrop is supported on the following Mac models: MacBook Pro (late 2008 or newer), MacBook Air (late 2010 or newer), MacBook (late 2008 or newer), iMac (early 2009 or newer), Mac mini (mid 2010 or newer), Mac Pro (early 2009 with AirPort Extreme card and mid 2010 or newer).7 GB of free hard drive space is recommended.Mac OS X 10.6.6 or later (Mac OS X 10.6.8 is recommended).x86-64 CPU (Macs with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel Core i3, Intel Core i5, Intel Core i7, or Xeon processor.).As of yet, there is no TRIM support for other SSDs. The first developer preview of Lion added TRIM support for SSDs shipped with Macs, which is also included in the latest version of Snow Leopard (10.6.8) shipping with current MacBook Pros before July 20, 2011. The Server portion of Lion is available as a separate download from the Mac App Store for US$49.99, which is in addition to the purchase price of Lion itself. On August 4, 2011, Apple started to take orders for Mac OS X Lion's USB installation flash drives for $69.99. It is not clear whether the USB distribution will support a direct upgrade to Lion from OS X versions prior to Snow Leopard. The only prior version of OS X that supports the Mac App Store is Snow Leopard, which implied that any machines that support Lion currently running Tiger or Leopard would first have to be upgraded to Snow Leopard, as opposed to allowing a direct upgrade to Lion.Īpple later announced two alternative distribution mechanisms for the benefit of users without broadband Internet access: in-store downloads at retail Apple Stores, and a USB flash drive containing the OS, priced at US$69, available through the online Apple Store beginning in August. Instead, the operating system was said to be available exclusively as a download from the Mac App Store for US$29.99. Īpple did not initially announce any physical media distribution for Lion, such as a set of CD-ROMs or a DVD-ROM as used for past releases. The specific release date of July 20 was not confirmed until the day before, July 19, by Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer as part of Apple's 2011 3rd-quarter earnings announcement. On June 6 at the 2011 Worldwide Developers Conference, it was announced that the official release for Lion would be in July 2011. By October 2011, Mac OS X Lion had sold over 6 million copies worldwide. Apple reported over 1 million Lion sales on the first day of its release. Lion achieved golden master status on July 1, 2011, followed by its final release via the Mac App Store on July 20, 2011. Other developer previews were subsequently released, with Lion Preview 4 (11A480b) being released at WWDC 2011. On February 24, 2011, the first developer's preview of Lion (11A390) was released to subscribers of Apple's developer program. It brings many developments made in Apple's iOS, such as an easily navigable display of installed applications, to the Mac, and includes support for the Mac App Store, as introduced in Mac OS X Snow Leopard version 10.6.6. Mac OS X Lion (version 10.7 marketed as OS X Lion) is the eighth major release of Mac OS X, Apple's desktop and server operating system for Macintosh computers.Ī preview of Lion was publicly unveiled at Apple's "Back to the Mac" event on October 20, 2010. Drizzle with ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil and season with season with ¾ tsp. mixed wild mushrooms, trimmed, halved or quartered if large (about ½” pieces) and 2 thyme sprigs in a single layer on prepared baking sheets. Line 2 rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper. You can even customize your recipe for green bean casserole by grating fresh Parmesan or sprinkling homemade bread crumbs over the top. The star of the show, however, is the crispy fried onions spiked with paprika, cumin, and coriander. It features fresh green beans and an assortment of mushrooms, both of which can be prepared ahead of time. This all-homemade green bean casserole recipe modernizes Reilly’s midcentury triumph. Campbell’s later began printing the recipe alongside the nutrition information on the backs of cream of mushroom soup cans, further cementing its legacy. It was the perfect side dish for the moment: Wartime bans on aluminum had recently been rescinded, and erstwhile homemakers who’d joined the workforce could put a warm, rib-sticking side dish on the table without much prep time. Reilly combined them with a few other pantry ingredients in a casserole dish, baked it, then topped it all with canned french fried onions and secured her place in history. In 1955, Dorcas Reilly, a Campbell’s test kitchen supervisor in Camden, New Jersey, was asked to create an easy recipe featuring the company’s canned green beans and mushroom soup. This classic casserole recipe is steeped in post–World War II American culture. It’s guaranteed to impress, whether you grew up with the canned soup version at every Thanksgiving dinner or this is your first time encountering the storied side dish. This is a green bean casserole recipe for the 21st century. Since both the front & end of the line is easily accessible, a queue’s enqueue & dequeue have a complexity of O(1). The first item in is always the first item out ( FIFO). Reversely, each item can be dequeued from the front of the line, one at a time. A new item can be enqueued to the end of the line, one at a time, elongating the line. QueuesĪ queue is a line of items, neatly arranged next to each other. The top of the stack is easily accessible. Since a stack operates by a LIFO process, the complexity to push an item to the top of the stack or to pop it off is a constant of O(1). The last item in is always the first item out ( LIFO). Reversely, each item can be popped off, one at a time, from the top of the stack. A new item can be pushed onto the top of a stack, one at a time, building to the height of the stack. StacksĪ stack is a pile of items neatly arranged atop each other. Although, an O(1/2 n) tends to be simplified as O(n). If the “box” or “item” is located at the 2nd half of the list, traveling from the tail will not require traveling through the 1st half of the list. That is, their complexities are half of O(n). The new tail required for popping a tail off is reachable from the current tail.Īnother advantage of being able to travel from two different end points (head or tail) is that to insert/remove any “box” or to get/set “items” in a “box” along the body of a list takes half the time of a singly linked list. The complexity to unshift, shift, push or pop is O(1). An advantage is that both the head & tail are easily accessible to add “boxes” to or remove “boxes” from. This means you can move forward from the head or the tail. Similarly, to insert/remove a “box,” or to get/set items in any “box” along the body of a list requires traveling from the head, and so their complexities are in general O(n).Ī doubly linked list is a two-way linked list. An n number of “boxes” requires n number of steps (operations) to reach the second to last “box” & reassign it as the new tail. The complexity to push a “box” to the end is also O(1) for a similar reason, the tail is immediately accessible.īut, to pop off the tail requires reassigning a new tail, which is reachable only by moving forward starting from the head, hence a linear complexity ( O(n)). This is because adding a “box” to or removing it from the beginning requires only accessing the head of the list. The complexity to unshift & shift is a constant ( O(1)). This means that you can only move forward from the head to the tail. It requires starting at the head (or tail) and moving from a current “box” to the next one, before you can get to your desired “box.”Ī singly linked list is a one-way linked list. But, to insert or remove “boxes” along the body of this linked list, to set items into a “box” that is beyond the head or tail, is more difficult. You can also easily shift or pop off “boxes” from the head or tail. You can easily unshift or push “boxes” to the head or tail of the linked list. There is no index to act as a guide for leaping to any one box. Upon arriving at any one box, you are pointed towards the direction of the next box. To get to any one box requires starting at one end (head or tail) and following the links, from one box to the next. Linked ListsĪ linked list is like a set of boxes chained together and stored in a dark room. Like a road along a path, linked lists, stacks & queues are direct ways to move from one unit of data to the next. Building from Simple Algorithms & Data Structures in JS, here we’ll look at data structures beyond arrays and key-value objects, beyond “labelled & deposit” boxes. Hello, this is my first post for ~10 years :-) Additional Specs Child Guidelinesīirth until 25 lbs (approximately 9 months) or attempts to climb out, whichever comes first While most little ones love it, there are some who aren’t joining the mamaRoo fan club anytime soon. It’s also one of those items of gear that some babies have particularly strong opinions about. And it’s heavy moving it from room to room won’t be as easy as other swings or bouncers. The mamaRoo is a great high-tech pick, but it’s on the pricier side. There are also smart home features like Bluetooth and voice control compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. The movements can be tailored to your baby’s preferences for a custom mix and match motion-there’s even an app to help you figure out which motions mimic your own the most. It has five fluid motions based on how parents move when soothing babies, including bouncing up and down and swaying side to side, making it ideal for even the youngest of babies who are used to lots of motion in the womb. Sure, it has futuristic good looks, but the mamaRoo-in a Babylist-exclusive color you’ll only find here- is more than a mod piece of baby gear. That’s where baby bouncers and swings come in. At some point you’ll need a shower, a meal or just a quick break.
